Instructions

Step 1

Pre-rinse the paper filter with hot water. It’s going to preheat the brewer and get rid of the papery taste and smell. Discard pre-rinsed water.

Step 2

Pour 22g of coffee into the V60 and create a divot in the middle of the ground coffee using your index finger.

Step 3

Start your stopwatch and begin pouring hot water in a spiral movement enough to cover the grounds and swirl it to get all the grounds evenly wet, this phase is called “blooming.”

Step 4

At about 30 seconds, start pouring in a spiral movement again, nice and slow until we reach 350grams of coffee. We wait until it finishes pouring and once the time reaches at about 2 minutes and 15- 30 seconds. If it’s not done dripping at 3mins, you can go ahead it pull the coffee and stop the brew time to avoid a really bitter coffee. Enjoy your cup of drip coffee!
